LJ CUP 2020 powered by the L J Institute of Sports Management and L J Institute of Event Management, organized with an aim to provide their students with a platform of being professionally trained for curating, executing and simultaneously implementing diversified techniques of management into practice by conducting an event of such splendour.
LJ CUP 2020 was inaugurated by renowned Olympic Kabaddi Athlete and World Champion Sandeep Narwal, who addressed the participants and motivated them for their future endeavours in sports. The tournament was attended by almost every member of the sports fraternity of Gujarat. The knock out matches were played on 1oth and 11th January. The semi-finals and finals were played on 12th January 2020 followed by valedictory ceremony of the event. The chief guests of the valedictory ceremony were The Indian Professional Kabaddi Player, Rahul Chaudhari and Chairman of Talent Scouting committee of Khelo India in Kabaddi, Sanjeev Sharma.
LJ CUP event this season broke its previous record and crossed 200 teams and 3500+ participants. LJ CUP not only sub served the participants but also supported and raised funds for LJ Department of Happiness with a small venture named Desi Café and not only campus students but even participants and some sports officials involved themselves in the desi games.
